Small (roughly 1.5 inches in diameter) counted cross stitch piece I did for for her apartment at college. I altered the pattern slightly because I didn't like some of the colors and the heart was both too small and incomplete looking.
seriously darlin, I love it! I cant wait to put it up where I can look at it all day and show it to everyone who comes in Cuz I have the best girlfriend
That's sooo incredible sweet! My mother do cross stitches too, but I had never the patience (or time) for such things... I really admire people who create such wonderful pieces. (If I was your girlfriend, I would cry tears of happiness. ^^)
Awww thank you. I just love doing cross stitch (and knitting, and crocheting, and cooking... and all that other house-wifey stuff...)
But as for the patience and the time... well, I can't do anything else but sit on my butt, so I might as well make pretty things! I seriously want to make myself a new quilt next... but I have to get started on all my sewing for Christmas first...
Please do more and make photos of it! I would like to see them all and maybe I can motivate myself to do some cross stitching again. Because the only house-wifey thing I can do is cooking... for my parents and my little sister...
I'm working on Christmas presents right now, and the thing I'm working on should be finished either tomorrow or the day after, so I might put a picture up of it since it's not for a person on dA, but it is for a family member who I know looks at my art things every once in a while so I'm conflicted on whether or not to put the picture up... It's the first of its kind that I've ever done, and I have to admit I'm quite pleased with it. And I need to take pictures of some of the older stuff I've done, since that's all really nice.
