I saw a pride butterfly on a pride website a while ago, and while it was absolutely lovely, I just didn't feel like it was bright or expressive enough for my viewpoint, and the wings seemed to be slightly out of balance. So I decided to do my own version of the pride butterfly, using hearts for the wings and keeping the colors very bright. I also thought the quote was incredibly appropriate, because love is one of the most powerful and important things in the universe, and no one should be allowed to put limits on the love of others.
